Full course description

FRESH Checks is a 10-week online course and guided support group designed to help students and alumni continue building meaningful, independent, and connected lives after college. Through weekly lessons, group discussions, self-reflection activities, and practical action steps, participants will strengthen skills that support long-term well-being and personal growth.

The course is built around the FRESH Framework:

  • Financial Well-Being
  • Relationships
  • Effective Choices & Emotions
  • Sparks of Joy
  • Health

Each week, participants will complete a short online lesson, engage in a supportive discussion with peers, reflect on their own goals and experiences, complete a brief knowledge check, and choose one real-world action step to practice during the week. Topics include managing money, building healthy relationships, making positive decisions, managing stress and emotions, developing healthy routines, finding purpose and enjoyment in everyday life, and staying connected to friends and community.

FRESH Checks is more than a class. It is a space for accountability, encouragement, friendship, and continued growth. Participants will celebrate successes, learn from one another, and develop practical strategies that support a healthy, fulfilling, and self-directed adult life.

Reflect. Connect. Act. Thrive.
